Photographe autodidacte depuis son plus jeune âge, Aloys Main est aussi médecin urgentiste et humanitaire depuis une vingtaine d'années.
Né en France, il n’a cessé de voyager aux quatre coins du monde, pour nourrir ses deux passions : soigner et témoigner par l’image de sa vision du monde.
La dureté des réalités qu’il a côtoyées comme soignant a indéniablement nourri sa sensibilité et son regard humaniste.
Parallèlement, la photographie a toujours été pour lui une nécessité, comme une indispensable antidote aux souffrances des hommes et du Monde.
Self-taught photographer from his early age, Aloys Main is also an humanitarian emergency medical doctor since almost twenty years.
Born in France, he never stopped travelling all over the world to nourish his two passions : to care for others and witness by photography of his vision of the world.
The hardness of the realities he encountered as a MD has undeniably nourished his sensitivity and his humanistic gaze.
At the same time, photography has always been a necessity for him, as an indispensable antidote to the sufferings of humans and the World.
